Success Stories

At Community on Purpose, we have been honored to make an impact on our local community through volunteerism, fundraising, and direct giving. Here are just a few of the incredible memories we’ve made with our partners in community.

Staffed and organized a pop up shop with the Clothes Cabin at Galveston Elementary school providing much needed clothing to families. 

Remodeled the shop closet at House of Refuge providing families with the opportunity to shop for donated household goods in a welcoming space. 
Sorted food for emergency food boxes to be distributed to families at Jacob’s Mission.
Remodeled the teen center at ICAN providing an exciting space for teens to build community. 
Made it possible for Positive Paths to be highlighted as a nonprofit spotlight by paying for a one year Gilbert Chamber of Commerce membership for the organization and doing a donation drive for their incoming class. 
Helped a family in need after a devastating house fire by providing them with a community grant for immediate clothing and food needs following the fire.
Purchased and delivered Christmas presents for the families in the Ocotillo Friends holiday drive. 

Partnered with Cabi Clothing to host Love Local, an event serving 50 local women in the community with new and gently used clothing, spa services, and a day of pampering for those from local nonprofit organizations

Made it possible for Amplify Voices to be highlighted as a nonprofit spotlight by paying for a one year Gilbert Chamber of Commerce membership for the organization ahead of their documentary release, The Journey.
Donated Thanksgiving meals to pediatric cancer patients and their families at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in partnership with Shannon’s Giving and Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels.
Donated funds to Cultivate Goodness to support their ongoing volunteer and donation drive efforts.

Donated Personal Care Kits to provide much needed hygiene products to nonprofit shelters, food banks, foster support programs and transitional housing organizations through the nonprofit organization Confidence Kits.

Participated in Gilbert Feeding Families raising funds and completing a food drive for food banks including Midwest Food Bank, United Food Bank, and more serving Valley families.

Spearheaded EXP Cares Day at Azcend Community Center with more than 75 volunteers giving the center a complete facelift, donating supplies and materials for senior nutrition kits, indoor and outdoor painting projects, and more.

Launched Flourish in the Community, a twice annual volunteer event at ICAN Positive Programs for youth volunteering and bringing supplies into their out of school programming along with sponsoring seasonal fairs and water days.

Provided Water Safety Coloring Books to Community Based Organizations Including Boost a Foster Family for use with their families in conjunction with their water safety initiatives and programs.
